I Am Sorry Candace Cameron Bure | Boholistic Mom

I Am Sorry Candace Cameron Bure

Why do I say “I Am Sorry Candace Cameron?”  Because Christians eat their own alive.  When I say “Christians,” I am speaking to those who say they are Christians, but who are judging others and being hypocritical with their actions.

Did God say to his followers, “Judge others, because you are so absolutely perfect?”  Or did God say,

“Judge not, that you be not judged.  For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.  Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?  Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye?  You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.” – Matthew 7:1-3

If you’ve never worn a short skirt, sure toss a stone.

If you’ve never had someone around you make a lesbian joke, go ahead toss a stone.

If you’ve never had to walk a thin line and not know what’s crossing the line and what God’s will is clearly, grab your slingshot.

“Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” – John 8:7

Let’s be clear.  God has said that we should do the exact opposite of judging others.  Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” If we are God’s disciples, we love one another.  We don’t tear them to shreds.

Candace is an actress and has chosen to act in a role on Fuller House.  She may be a Christian . . . she may not be a Christian.  Does it matter?  God says not to judge.  We are tarnishing the name of Christ when we represent His Holy Name and voice criticism, judgement, and disdain.

Which one of the Ten Commandments did Candace break by acting as DeeJ on Fuller House?  Can you name one?  Are you sure?

All those standing in judgement of Candace are breaking the 3rd Commandment.  Taking the Lord’s name in vain.  We are wearing God’s name, identifying with Jesus, taking His Holy Name and dragging it through the gutters.

How dare we.

If you are a Christian . . . if you are a follower of Jesus Christ, repent!  Stop dragging our God’s Holy Name through the mud.  Candace did not tell everyone that Fuller House was a kid’s program.  She didn’t lie.  Who can say she’s sinned?  Did she write the script?  Is Candace DeeJ, the role that she is acting?  What if a Christian played a murderer on a movie?  Does that make the actor/actress a murderer?  Did God tell Candace not to go onto the show?

Guess what?  We don’t know what God told Candace, but we sure know what God has told us.  He says, “Do not judge.”

Uphold His Name.
