Holistic Remedies

What is a holistic remedy?
Boholistic Mom’s definition of a holistic remedy is any healing treatment used to fix or change a physical or mental problem with the use of diet, herbs, or a lifestyle change that does not just remove the obvious problem but treats the whole person.
Why should I consider using a holistic remedy?
Holistic remedies can be a great option for any mom and any family.  At Boholistic Mom, we like to think of a person as a whole, realizing that each person has a heart, mind, body, and a spirit.  A holistic remedy will help a mother think about caring for the whole person without bringing harm to other parts of the body.
Will holistic remedies always work?
No, nothing works 100% of the time.  However, having more knowledge of alternative treatments and remedies allows each mother to know what the options are and lets each mother try herbal teas, diet change, and other very reasonable lifestyle changes in order to find what works best for the mother and for the family.
Can I find medical advice on Boholistic Mom?

Should I only use holistic remedies?
As mentioned previously, Boholistic Mom will not give you medical advice.  Holistic remedies are an option for those whose problems do not require immediate medical intervention.  Always seek advice from a medical professional before making medical changes, especially if you are not in optimal health.
